CPR & First Aid Courses for Lay Rescuers
The courses in this section are meant for those who are not working in the medical field. In-person and online-blended formats are available.
Safety Team Solutions provides American Heart Association (AHA) accredited CPR and First Aid training. AHA trainings are approved by the NYS Bureau of Emergency Medical Services for CPR, First Aid, and AED training for sports teams, schools, and camps. All certifications from STS are valid for two years, but students are encouraged to reach out anytime with questions or to schedule a refresher course after one year to keep their skills sharp.

Heartsaver CPR-AED
In-Person Course
This course is designed for community members, sports teams, and non-medical persons.
Heartsaver teaches essential one-rescuer CPR skills, AED usage, and choking assistance.
Two year access to online workbook included.

Heartsaver First Aid
In-Person Course
Provides fundamental first aid skills. This course can be combined with CPR training and or AED training for a comprehensive emergency response package. *See below for the combined option to save.

This course, designed for community members, combines CPR skills, AED usage, first aid basics, and choking assistance. Ideal for home, work, and public settings.
