Course Information and Preparation

It is important to know expectations and how to be prepared. Read below for information answering frequently asked questions. Please contact STS with additional questions, or for clarification.

Good to know info

  • You may choose an option to register for a scheduled training if the training you are seeking is currently scheduled.
  • If you have a group of people (six or more), please email or call to discuss group and contract discounts (click Group Discounts for more details). Depending on the number of trainees and the length of a contract, discounts may be lower than those noted on the group discounts page. This depends on several factors, please reach out with questions to discuss.
  • You may also message to discuss the option of Safety Team Solutions coming to teach a course at your location or an alternate community location. There is not additional fee for STS to come to train at your location.
  • Please note, you do not require a group of six to request training at an alternate location. STS strives to be flexible and accommodating for your training needs.
  • Some trainings may be available via Zoom, if students have the required supplies to demonstrate the skills.
  • AED training is integrated into BLS CPR and Heartsaver CPR. It can be integrated into the Heartsaver First Aid course as well, ensuring individuals are equipped to use an AED in an emergency. If your team/camp/group has access to an AED, please provide the make and model prior to your scheduled training. This helps ensure the training experience is tailored to the specific equipment you use.
  • STS strives to keep prices accessible and affordable, but they may be adjusted without notice to account for supply cost increases. If training costs are outside of your ability to pay, please reach out to discuss alternative training and payment options.
